Huawei WiFi Router B310 Manual

by DMG Webmaster July 2, 2020
written by DMG Webmaster

Huawei was founded by Ren Zhengfei in 1987. Prior to this, Ren was a member of the engineer corps in People’s Liberation Army, which helped to establish Huawei as a state-wide respected company, also aiding with national funding. This made Huawei a significant asset in China, especially when Chinese government banned foreign networking devices to be imported in 1996. Over the next couple of years Huawei noted significant growth, merging with 3Com in 2003 and receiving $US10 billion in credit in 2004. As of 2020, Huawei has become almost a victim of Chinese and U.S. government disputes, making it difficult for Huawei to do business on American soil.

Today, Huawei is covering a wide array of products, mostly focusing on mobile hotspots, routers and similar networking devices. If you are having issues with your device, chances are that it is a typical issue with that particular series. For problems like these, we can help you out with our Huawei Troubleshooting section.

If you misplaced your user manual or you purchased your Huawei device used and no manual was provided, don’t worry. Our Huawei User Manual library contains a large number of Huawei networking device manuals, official documents which contain every single bit of information you might need. These documents will help you understand the capabilities of your device and how to properly configure it to really get the most out of your investment.

Netgear AC750 R6020 Manual

by DMG Webmaster June 30, 2020
written by DMG Webmaster

Consumer networking gear has come a long way and there are many vendors to choose from these days. Netgear Inc. is consistently mentioned as one of the recommended choices, as their product line up is vast to say the least. We especially appreciate the effort and thought being put into their manuals as we have never had an issue with finding the appropriate Netgear Manual for any of the numerous devices. Still, as it is with almost any consumer product brand of the modern era, there are some caveats to know about when dealing with Netgear devices, such as somewhat limited product support system which keeps popping up as one of the worse aspects of their business.

On the back of the R6020 router you will find four Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000 ports, an external internet modem connector as well as a small button which doubles as a reset and a Push ‘N’ Connect button. In terms of connection standards, the R6020 works within IEEE 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz and a/n/ac 5GHz bandwidth. Security-wise, you get the usual set of features such as the double firewall protection (NAT), as well as a neat system which separates guest network access from the usual one, so you have a separate and secure portions of your home network.

Where Can You Download the Netgear AC750 R6020 Router Manual?

Our mission is to find and provide the manual for the device you are having issues with so that you do not waste time and proceed with the configuration/repair procedure you need to do. There is only so much we can cover in our Netgear Troubleshooting section as well, but ShareDF made locating the manuals easy for us as they have your Netgear AC750 R6020 Router Manual in their database. Centurylink Zyxel Router C1100Z Manual

by DMG Webmaster June 28, 2020
written by DMG Webmaster

Centurylink, Inc. as a company has had a very rich history which spans all the way back to the 1930s. However, as a brand, Centurylink appeared quite late in comparison. In 2009 the company previously known as Centurytel began operating under the new Centurylink name (CTL). Today, Centurylink provides products for small business, enterprise and residential use, mostly in the networking department, including fiber, phone and TV services. Along with that, it is common to find routers and modems branded as Centurylink in combination with Technicolor and Zyxel as partners.

Dealing with a non-functioning router or a router which has a mind of its own can be quite a cumbersome experience and tracking the proper solution is usually a lengthy process. To help you out with resolving your Centurylink device issues, we created the Centurylink Troubleshooting section. This is where you can find step-by-step procedures for resolving some of the most common issues that are plaguing Centurylink devices.

In case you need a bit more information related to your Centurylink device, your best bet is to go through the official Centurylink User Manual. These documents contain every single bit of information you might ever need when dealing with your device, whether these relate to fixing an issue or improving your overall experience with it by configuring it properly, as intended.

TP-Link AC1750 Archer CR700 Manual

by DMG Webmaster June 25, 2020
written by DMG Webmaster

During the early 1990s, there was an intense race between a significant number of networking equipment vendors. One of the brands that came on top at that time was TP-Link, a company founded in 1996 by Zhao Jianjun and Zhao Jiaxing. As of 2013 the company had more than 20,000 people under its payroll, which is a good indication of just how intense and explosive the growth was. It is no wonder that it occurred this way either, as the demand for networking gear at an affordable price was skyrocketing at the time. In addition to your average router and hub, TP-Link also takes part in the resale of smart home devices such as cameras, switches, access points, and more and is quite successful at implementing modern technologies into their line-up. It makes sense that TP-Link Manuals section of our website is one of the most popular ones.

The Archer CR700 feels and looks like a genuine addition to your living room. It is definitely one of the least intrusive routers by design, but it definitely packs a punch behind that mild façade. It can handle Internet plans of up to 300Mbps and it is powered by a dual-core processor which makes certain that your connection is as reliable as possible. On the back of the CR700, one can find two USB ports, four Gigabit Ethernet ports, and a coaxial Internet connection as well as a power switch and a power connector. This router is officially supported by Xfinity, Cox, and Spectrum service providers.

Where Can You Download the TP-Link AC1750 Archer CR700 Router Manual?

There is a limited number of generic procedures you can take on a wild guess when there is an issue with your device. TP-Link generally has decent manuals and they do contain a lot of key information which saves your time and enables you to configure your device as it was designed. Within our TP-Link Troubleshooting Section there are certain common problems resolved which is an appropriate first step to take when resolving an issue. The fact of the matter is that you are probably dealing with an issue that is not as common, but we can also provide you with the official TP-Link AC1750 Archer CR700 Router Manual, available for free on the following link: https://sharedf.com/tp-link-ac1750-archer-cr700-manual/

Netgear AC1750 R6300 Manual

by DMG Webmaster June 24, 2020
written by DMG Webmaster

When you are in need for an unmanaged switch, home router or a basic business type networking unit, Netgear Inc. has proven to be right up that alley. Their vast line-up of products should satisfy all, particularly gamers as they have an entire series of products particularly for that market. Our Netgear Manuals section proves that they invest quite a bit of effort in these documents. Design of their devices is also something not to ignore as some of them look especially good and can make a router your decoration piece at home. Still, there are some gripes we have with Netgear, such as the web UI lacks both in presentation quality as well as available options and settings.

Netgear R6300 features a set of four Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000 ports on the back as well as a USB 3.0 port. Said USB 3.0 port can be used for quick and easy file sharing from your external USB hard drive wirelessly over your network. An additional USB 2.0 port is located on the right-hand side, which is meant to be used as a printer sharing port. In addition to this, the usual set of Netgear features can be found, such as compatibility with the Netgear Genie application which allows remote control and monitoring of your network and Push ‘N’ Connect button for easy access to your home network.

Where Can You Download the Netgear AC1750 R6300 Router Manual?

Finding the correct user manual for your device can sometimes be a hassle, especially if the issue is not covered in our Netgear Troubleshooting section. Day One Steam Deck Games: What to Play At Launch

by DMG Webmaster June 24, 2020
written by DMG Webmaster

The long-anticipated Steam Deck is shaping up to be a formidable handheld gaming PC. With 1280×800 or 1280×720 HD resolution and frame rates of 45-80 FPS or more that are possible with most games, the release of the Steam Deck in February 2022 has people wondering what the Steam library is going to look like on day one of Deck ownership.

While most games will be at least playable, there are some finer points you should know about, as well as some info that may already be populated in your library before launch that you can look at to get prepped for launch.

The “Deck Verified” Rating System

The Linux-based SteamOS that the Deck runs on will be capable of some incredible graphics, but as any gamer knows, the eye-candy is only one piece of the big picture. This is why Valve has developed the Deck Verified rating system and has begun applying its rubric of compatibility to all of the games in the Valve offering library.

This rating system lets you know at a glance which games have been evaluated and how they fare on the Deck. If you are a current Valve customer, some of this data should be making its way into your game library when writing. There are four levels, each with its icon visible on the game’s title card.

Verified

Signaled by the green checkmark, this is the rating that lets you know the developers have fully optimized the game to run on SteamOS while meeting specific criteria.

Deck Verified games will offer full controller support, use correct controller glyphs, and auto-enable the onscreen keyboard when needed. They will also be verified to use the default resolution have solid default settings and readable text.

They will not create any compatibility warnings, and if they use Proton, all the intermediate software like anti-cheat should also be supported.

Playable

Playable status has a yellow mark and means that while the game is playable, you may need to do some extra tweaks to make it run optimally. This may entail manual text entry, requiring the touchscreen to navigate, or manually adjusting graphics options for acceptable performance.

Unsupported

Unsupported games will have a “no” sign and are entirely unsupported or cannot run on Steam Deck. This means they may require a VR headset or be incompatible with Proton. Proton helps run Windows games in the Linux environment.

Unknown

This is the question mark icon, which means that it hasn’t been tested for compatibility or optimization. Evaluation is ongoing, so an unknown game at launch may become Deck Verified a week later, next quarter, or never.

The Best Games for SteamOS

At launch, you can expect to be able to immediately play some of the hottest games around, with a total of 67 of them, including:

  • Stardew Valley
  • Civilization VI
  • Valheim
  • Terraria
  • ARK: Survival Evolved
  • Left 4 Dead 2
  • Carrion
  • Factorio
  • Hollow Knight
  • RimWorld
  • Crusader Kings III
  • Don’t Starve Together
  • Total War: Warhammer III
  • Plague Inc: Evolved
  • Dying Light Enhanced
  • Last Epoch
  • Cities: Skylines
  • Wildermyth
  • Overcooked! 2
  • Euro Truck Simulator 2

In case some of these clutter up your internal storage, keep in mind that you can always install Steam games on SD card.

Are There Games You Can’t Play on Steam Deck?

Even though they are among some of the best first-person shooters, battle royale titles, and more, some games will not be playable on Steam Deck. Luckily, it’s a relatively short list, and there’s plenty of time for the devs to port them to the Deck. Unsupported games include:

  • Apex Legends
  • PUBG
  • Destiny 2
  • Day Z
  • Smite
  • Rainbow Six: Siege
  • Fall Guys
  • Dead By Daylight

Kenwood TH-F6 Manual

by DMG Webmaster June 24, 2020
written by DMG Webmaster

Kenwood as a corporation was founded in the post World War 2 period, more precisely in 1946 in Japan, Nagano Prefecture. At that time the company specialized in design and manufacturing of communication and measuring equipment. Today, Kenwood specializes in three main types of products – car electronics, professional communication equipment and audio equipment.

With as complex of a variety as you can find in Kenwood’s product lineup, it is sometimes difficult to properly operate amateur radio equipment from this vendor. In many cases, issues can arise that spark some doubt with the user, as it is not often a case of human error. Devices as complex as amateur radios, HF transceivers and similar pack a lot of features inside a small package, which is why it is important for one to make sure that everything is configured correctly and possible technical issues have been resolved. This is why we created our Kenwood Troubleshooting section, where you can find most common problems users generally encounter by using a specific model or series of Kenwood products.

In cases where you didn’t find a solution to your problem in the troubleshooting section, we would advise you to check out our Kenwood User Manual section, where you will find a plethora of manuals for most Kenwood devices such as amateur radios, transceivers etc. This is the best way to make sure you are operating your device as per manufacturer’s instructions, and therefore getting the most out of your investment.

Motorola Cable Modem MB8600 Manual

written by DMG Webmaster

Motorola is one of the longest standing tech companies, though it did go through some rough times. Originally it was founded in Chicago, Illinois, by Joseph and Paul Galvin in 1928. They acquired the Stewart Battery Company for US$750, and with a tiny bit of capital the first couple of months were rough. One of the biggest products Motorola ever introduced to the market was the first handheld portable telephone in 1971. Two decades later Motorola was acquired by Nokia in 1998. In 2002 Motorola introduced the world’s first wireless cable modem gateway, which was the ticket into the huge home networking business at the time.

If you are having issues with your Motorola networking hardware, we would first recommend that you visit our Motorola Troubleshooting section. Here you will be guided step by step to determine the root cause of the issue you are having and therefore significantly reducing the amount of time you spend on pinpointing the problem.

For a more detailed overview of your particular device, please visit our Motorola User Manual section In here you can access official manufacturer provided user manuals that should be used when looking for a more detailed overview of your device. It is also a good idea to check the manual out before you purchase such a device, regardless if new or used, as you can make sure that it is compatible with your existing devices and you can get the most out of it.
